The Broadmoor
This world-famous resort sits on 3,000 acres at the foot of Cheyenne Mountain.
Garden of the Gods Park
There’s something for everyone at the Garden of the Gods Park. And with no entry fee, it’s the best deal in town.
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo
The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, the highest zoo in the country at 6,800', is world famous for its diverse and exotic collection of more than 500 animals.
May Museum
One of the world's outstanding collections of giant tropical insects.
Royal Gorge
The World's Highest Suspension Bridge offers an Aerial Tram, Incline Railway, Theater, and breath-taking views of the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
Western Museum of Mining and Industry
Great collection relates to all aspects of the history of mining and metallurgy, as well as the history of the American West.
Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun
The Shrine's 8,136 foot elevation provides a spectacular view of Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak region. Winter hours: 9am-4pm. Summer hours: 9am-5pm. Please call during winter to inquire about road closures.
Parks & Recreation
The Pikes Peak region offers a variety of recreation opportunities. State and national parks and forests offer sites for camping, picnicking and hiking. 

The Colorado Springs Parks and Recreation Department maintains over 100 city parks and offers recreation programs for all ages. Programs include team sports, fitness, and arts and crafts classes. 

Garden of the Gods is a 940 acre park containing unique rock formations. 

Memorial Park, in Colorado Springs, has a year-round indoor swimming pool, an ice arena, and the 7-Eleven Velodrome.

Pike National Forest covers 1 million acres west of Colorado Springs. There are picnic areas, campgrounds, hiking and cross-country ski trails. Rampart Reservoir allows camping, fishing, biking, and picnicking. 

Pikes Peak, rising to 14,110 feet, is one of the most distinctive peaks in Colorado's Front Range. The summit provides scenic views of the Rampart Range, the Continental Divide, Colorado Springs, Denver and the eastern plains.
