The 1st Time Home Buyers' Tax Credit is still in effect for those who served at least 90 days extended duty between 01 Jan 2009 and 30 April 2010. Those who qualify will receive an $8,000 Federal tax credit for homes under contract between now and 30 April 2011, and which close on or before 30 June 2011. Even repeat home buyers with this extended duty, may qualify to receive a $6,500 Federal tax credit!
